REMEMBERANCE OF AL-QUDS

It is an annual programme at IIUM. There is exhibition, video shows, quiz etc . I bought The battle For Existance by Dr ‘Abd As-Sattar Fat-halla Sa’id. There are also badges, many books related to Palestinians struggle to free from Zionists evil.


Purpose:

To commemorate the historical date in 1969 when Dennis Michael burnt Masjidil Aqsa, but court let him free

Masjidil Aqsa:

The 3rd Holy Mosque in Islam after Masjidil Haram & Masjid Nabawi
1st qiblah for Muslimin before Kaabah now
Located in Palestin, the land blessed by Allah & the land of martyrs and prophets
Solat performed there is equal to 500times solat elsewhere except Haram & Masjid Nabawi

Dome of The Rock/Qubah al-Sakhra:

The golden dome in Palestin, known with the story of the rock which was hung during the event of mi’raj

Palestin:

The sacred and blessed land which owns a special place in the heart of every muslim, the land of anbiya’ and the land of Isra’
Located in the southwest of Syam, from West of Asia to the coastal area along the eastern Mediterranean Sea
Known before as land of Kan’an
The area marked in the map today as Israel in fact a part of Palestine
The land called Israel/Zionist State is illegitimate either based on the historical facts or the teaching of Islam and The Old Testament
It was being seized and confiscated from the Palestinians brutally

Zionism:

A Jewish movement founded by Theodore Hertzl in 1897 dedicated to the establishment of the illegitimate Jewish State/national homeland in Palestine

Dennis Michael burnt our 3rd holy Mosque
The fire was very big that it burnt the walls and the Huge pulpit as if it would burn the whole mosque

Even the fire brigades refused to help though the station was very near to the mosque
At last the Muslim managed to extinguish the fire
With Allah’s help, the SAVED our Masjidil Aqsa that historical day
After that The Zionist charged Michael in a tribunal, for trying to burn Masjidil Aqsa

Sadly, the trial was not meant to seek justice, but it was being planned to conceal the truth from the eyes of the Muslim
They rested the case by simply saying that Michael was insane, therefore he was not guilty

As a result nobody was held responsible for the crime, the puzzle was left uncompleted
Consequently, Muslims worldwide stood up to defend The Holy Mosque
Muslims voice out the dissatisfaction loudly and criticize the unjust, opprobrious and contemptible actions over the important case

Since that day, 21th August every year has been known as World Remembrance of Al-Quds Day
The day which is very significant in the heart and mind of every Muslim

Allah has promised that Al-Aqsa will be at peace again…the winter will come to an end and the promised spring will surely come

BUT, WHERE ARE WE ON THAT DAY?

Either to be with those who joyfully celebrate the meaningful victory or with those who regret for not joining the team and decide to be left behind..IT’S YOUR CHOICE
